Glass Static Smoke Barrier (SSB)
FIRE RESISTANCE: D30, resp. D60
The glass static smoke barrier ASKOZ is designed to divide the building in smoke zones in case of fire, and prevents consequential smoke spread to other areas.
Glass static smoke barriers are convenient mainly for their transparency and for visual not disturbing the premises.
The main quality required is the fire resistance of these shutters. Glass static smoke barriers ASKOZ have fire resistance D 30 (var.1) D 60 (var.2), according to CSN EN 12101-1).
The glass static smoke barrier ASKOZ was successfully tested in the PAVUS test institute, and was granted CE certificate No. 1396-CPD-0025. The manufacturer issues Declaration of Conformity for individual commissions, within the interpretation of Act No. 22/1997 Coll., as amended.
Technical properties
- The design of the barriers enables assembly without any additional special structures, fixation in concrete, masonry or steel profiles.
- Glass can be connected in a line, which can create an unlimited length of barriers.
- Maximum standard dimensions of one glass sheet is for var. 11,500 x 2,000 mm (w x h) (resistance D30).
- For variant 2 then 2,000 x 900 mm (w x h) (resistance D60).
- The barriers have a relatively low weight (18 kg/m2).
- All visible steel parts of the barriers are varnished in share according to RAL sampler (upon the customer's request).
